GTA 6 Fictional Brands vs. Real Manufacturers

- • Vehicle control menu accessible via the D-pad
Customization
- • More in-depth than GTA V: bodywork, engine, brakes, suspension, turbo, transmission
- • Liveries, wheels, windows, lighting, and potentially weapons on some vehicles
- • Mod shop spotted: "Ride Out Customs"
- • Purchase at dealerships / showrooms and via the in-game internet
Obtaining Vehicles
- • Theft from the street — It's Grand Theft Auto!
- • Dealerships and showrooms for purchase
- • In-game internet (like in GTA V)
- • Immobilizer Bypass — Minigame for stealing luxury cars
- • Storage in protagonists' garages and properties

Confirmed News from August 2026
Following the Extended Look on August 27, 2026 (26 minutes of PS5 gameplay), our census now reaches 185 identified models in official media (no total confirmed by Rockstar). Several driving mechanics have also been confirmed.
Confirmed Driving Mechanics

- • Repair — vehicles can apparently be repaired at gas stations
- • Collision damage is significantly more detailed, with a brief slow-motion effect on the most violent impacts
- • Vehicle Menu — "Loadout" and "Storage" options, the latter showing a capacity of 0/4 stored weapons
- • Car Theft — several options when interacting with a vehicle: "Clone Key" or "Smash Window"
- • Garages confirmed as properties, some with a weapon locker and storage for stolen goods
- • Rockstar's handling team includes real race car drivers, involved in the driving physics
